背景信息	Thromboxane-A synthase (TBXAS1) is a member of the cytochrome P450 family catalyzing the conversion of the prostaglandin endoperoxide into thromboxane A2 as a potent vasoconstrictor and inducer of platelet aggregation. It is found in platelets, lung, kidney, spleen, macrophages and lung fibroblasts. TBXAS1 was identiﬁed as a novel airway ﬁbroblast-speciﬁc markers along with integrin-8 (ITGA8). Mutations associated with TBXAS1 are Ghosal hematodiaphyseal dysplasia and thromboxane synthetase deficiency.
