背景信息 Axin-2, or Axis inhibition protein 2, is an inhibitor of the Wnt signaling pathway that down-regulates beta-catenin and APC through phosphorylation. Axin-2 abnormalities are linked to defective mismatch repair and have been found to be involved in colorectal cancer (CRC) and oligodontia-colorectal cancer syndrome (ODCRCS).
