背景信息 Stathmin-like 2 (STMN2) protein is a phospho-protein and functions in microtubule dynamics and signal transduction. Studies show STMN2 plays a regulatory role in neuronal growth and thought to be involved in osteogenesis. Reduced levels, i.e. reduction in expression, have been associated with Down's syndrome and Alzheimer's disease.
