背景信息 Myogenic factor 5 (Myf-5) is a nuclear protein belonging to the Myogenic regulatory factors (MRFs) family of transcription factors characterized by their basic helix-loop-helix (bHLH) domains. The MRF family is comprised of myogenin, MyoD, MRF4, and Myf-5, and provides necessary regulatory functions in the differentiation of skeletal muscle.
