背景信息	The protein Rho GTPase-activating protein 9 or Rho-type GTPase-activating protein 9, and encoded by the human gene ARHGAP9, is one of the family of Rho binding GTPases that regulates Rho mediated signaling. ARHGAP9 interacts significantly with CDC42 and RAC1. ARHGAP9 is expressed primarily in blood leukocytes and can localize in spleen and thymus tissues where it assists in regulating the adhesion of hematopoietic cells to the extracellular matrix. In addition, ARHGAP9 appears to be a link between Rho GTPase and MAP kinase signaling as research has demonstrated that ARHGAP9 is a novel MAP kinase docking protein that interacts with Erk2 and p38alpha through complementarily charged residues in the WW domain of ARHGAP9, and the CD domains of Erk2 and p38alpha. EMD-Millipore’s Anti-ARHGAP9 rabbit polyclonal antibody has been tested in western blot on HeLa cell extracts.
