背景信息	The protein named Amphiphysin (AMPH) and encoded by the human gene AMPH/AMPH1 is thought to recruit dynamin to sites of clathrin-mediated endocytosis and synaptic recycling. AMPH is known to associate with several proteins including an isoform named AMPH2, which shares 49% identity with AMPH. In addition to synaptic recycling AMPH is known to associate with the cyclin-dependent kinase-like 5 (CDKL5) protein. Its phosphorylation by CDKL5 appears to be critical for proper neuronal development. EMD-Millipore’s Anti-AMPH rabbit polyclonal antibody has been tested in western blot on mouse brain extracts and in paraffin embedded immunohistochemistry on human pancreatic cancer tissue sections.
