背景信息	Transgelin 1 (TAGLN) is a specific marker for differentiated smooth muscle cells belonging to the calponin family. It contains one calponin-like repeat and one CH (calponin-homology) domain. TALGN is involved in calcium interactions and contractile properties of the cell that can contribute to replicative senescence. There are three isoforms of Transgelin.
