背景信息 PRDM4 (PFM1) is a member of the PR-domain family of proteins. Consistent with it functions as a transcription factor, this protein contains six C2H2-type zinc fingers and a SET domain. PRDM4 is found in the nucleus and is expressed in a variety of tissues. It is highly expressed in the pancreas, brain, ovaries, testis, and prostate. Data suggests that this protein plays a role in tumor suppression of ovarian, gastric and pancreatic tumors.
