背景信息 BCL-11A (B-cell lymphoma/leukemia 11A) is also known as B-cell CLL/lymphoma 11A, COUP-TF-interacting protein 1, and Ecotropic viral integration site 9 protein homolog (EVI-9). BCL-11A functions as a proto-oncogene in myeloid and B-cells with important roles in leukemogenesis and hematopoiesis. BCL-11A is thought to modulate the transcriptional repression activity of ARP1. BCL-11A is highly expressed in brain, spleen thymus, bone marrow and testis and is also found in CD34-positive myeloid precursor cells, B-cells, monocytes and megakaryocytes.
