背景信息	Pygopus homolog 2 (PYGO2) is a member of the Pygopus protein family. Two mammalian Pygo genes (Pygo1 and Pygo) have been described. PYGO2 is an essential component of the canonical Wnt/beta-catenin transcriptional complex. This protein is often up regulated in malignant epithelial ovarian cancer cells and has been found to be widely expressed in other cancers such as breast cancer cells.
