背景信息 Argininosuccinate synthase, also known as ASS, is a ubiquitous enzyme with high levels of expression in the kidney and liver. It catalyzes the conversion of citrulline and aspartate to argininosuccinate, the rate-limiting steps in the biosynthesis of arginine. Argininosuccinate synthase is also involved in the synthesis of nitric oxide and polyamines. It is required for proper functioning of vascular endothelial cells, and may play a role in cancer. Defects in argininosuccinate synthase result in citrullinemia type 1, an infantile condition characterized by lethargy, poor feeding, vomiting, seizures and loss of consciousness. 产品信息 格式 Affinity Purified 控制 - A549 cell lysate
