    应用说明 ELISA: A concentration of at least 0.5μg/ml (100μL/well) of AB1479P is required to detect 0.2 - 0.4 ng/well of recombinant MCP-2.

    Western Blot: A concentration of 0.1 - 0.2 μg/ml of AB1479P is required to detect 1.5 - 3.0 ng/lane of MCP-2, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.

    Optimal working dilutions must be determined by the end user.

The protein encoded by this gene is structurally related to the CXC subfamily of cytokines. Members of this subfamily are characterized by two cysteines separated by a single amino acid. This cytokine displays chemotactic activity for monocytes, lymphocytes, basophils and eosinophils. By recruiting leukocytes to sites of inflammation this cytokine may contribute to tumor-associated leukocyte infiltration and to the antiviral state against HIV infection.

    PTM: N-terminal processed form MCP-2(6-76) is produced by proteolytic cleavage after secretion from peripheral blood monocytes.
