    描述
    概述 A cell-permeable benzoxathiole compound that acts as an IKK-2 inhibitor, presumably by targeting the Ser177 and/or Ser181 residues in the kinase's activation loop domain. Shown to inhibit LPS-induced NF-κB activation and nitrite production (IC50 = 1.0 & 0.7 µM, respectively) in RAW 264.7 cells in vitro and effectively prevent LPS-induced septic death in mice (70% survival rate with 30 mg/kg BOT-64, i.p.) in vivo.
