背景信息	With SmartFlare™ RNA Detection probes, you can detect RNA in LIVE CELLS with ease. With just an overnight incubation of JAK1; Human, Cyanine 5, RNA Detection Probe you can detect the presence of JAK1 within your cells. Janus Kinase 2 (JAK2) belongs the the JAK family of non-receptor tyrosine kinases. The JAK family consists of four members, JAK1, JAK2, JAK3, and TYK2. Ligand binding to a variety of cell surface receptors, like cytokine and growth factor receptors, results in the association and subsequent activtion of JAK kinases via phosphorylation. Activated JAK proteins, in turn, phosphorylate members of the Signal Transducers and Activators of Transcription (STAT) family of transcription factors. In the JAK2 domain, there is a region that has considerable sequence homology to the regulatory region of the insulin receptor and contains two tyrosines, Tyr¹⁰⁰⁷ and Tyr¹⁰⁰⁸, that are key phoshorylation/regulatory sites.
