背景信息	With SmartFlare™ RNA Detection probes, you can detect RNA in LIVE CELLS with ease. With just an overnight incubation of PTPN11; Human, Cyanine 5, RNA Detection Probe you can detect the presence of PTPN11 within your cells. SHP-2 is a ubiquitously expressed tyrosine phosphatase that has been implicated in the signaling pathways of growth factors, cytokines, and cell adhesion molecules. SHP-2 contains a Src homology 2 domain and is involved in focal adhesion and stress fiber remodeling. Activation of SHP-2 and its association with Gab1 is critical for sustained Erk activation. SHP-2 also attenuates EGF-dependent PI3 kinase activation by dephosphorylating Gab1 p85 binding sites. It has been reported that when SHP-2 is phosphorylated at Tyr⁵⁴² it interacts with its own N-terminal SH2 domain to relieve basal inhibition of the phosphatase.
