With just an overnight incubation of GDF3; Human, Cyanine 3 RNA Detection Probe you can detect the presence of GDF3 within your cells. Growth differentiation factor-3 (GDF3), also known as Vg-related gene 2 (Vgr-2), belongs to the transforming growth factor beta (TGF-β) superfamily. Expression of GDF3 occurs in ossifying bones during embryonic development and in the brain, thymus, spleen, bone marrow, and adipose tissue of adults. GDF3 regulates the balance between different modes of TGF-β signaling. Studies have shown GDF3 to control differentiation of embyronic stem cells in mice and humans.
