    背景信息 The inhibitory neurotransmitter, GABA, acts through two ligand-gated channels, GABA(A) and GABA(C) receptors and GABA(B), the latter of which acts through a G protein mechanism. GABA(B)R2 is one of the two G-protein coupled receptors for GABA(B) that acts as a heteromeric assembly with GABA(B)R1. These are 6 known subunits for the GABA Receptor (a, b, g, d, e and r).
