背景信息	T-cell surface glycoprotein CD8 alpha chain, also known as T-cell surface glycoprotein Lyt-2 or CD8a or CD8a, is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily acting as a co-receptor with MHC class I-restricted T cell receptors, and through its association with protein tyrosine kinase p56Ick, modulates antigen recognition and T cell activation as well as thymic development. CD8a is expressed on the majority of thymocytes, a subset of mature T lymphocytes, and NK cells (almost exclusively CD8a homodimers).
