    背景信息 Tudor domain-containing protein 7 (TDRD7) is a ~130 kDa scaffolding protein containing two Tudor domains characteristic to the Tudor domain family of proteins. The exact function of TDRD7 is yet to be defined; however, it has been observed as a component in several regulatory complexes involved in mRNA transport, protein translation apparatus, centrosomal movement and cytoskeleton dynamics. Studies have indicated interaction between TDRD7 and CDK17, PIWIL1 and CABLES1. Expression of TDRD7is primarily observed within the brain and testis, and localized to the mitochondria.
