背景信息	Transcription initiation factor IIB, also known as General transcription factor TFIIB or S300-II, and encoded by the gene name GTF2B or TF2B or TFIIB, is one of the ubiquitous factors required for transcription initiation by RNA polymerase II. The protein localizes to the nucleus where it forms a complex (the DAB complex) where it serves as a linker between TFIID and RNA Polymerase II. TFIIB serves as a bridge between IID, the factor which initially recognizes the promoter sequence, and RNA polymerase II.
