背景信息 Bile salt sulfotransferase (sult2a1), also known as dehydroepiandrosterone sulfotransferase or ST2A1, is a member of the sulfotransferase 1 family. It is found in the liver and adrenal glands, where it catalyzes the addition of a sulfuryl group, possibly donated by the cofactor 3'-phospho-5'-adenylyl sulfate (PAPS), to endogenous bile acids and steroids.
