背景信息	Neutrophil cytosol factor 2 (NCF-2), also known as 67 kDa neutrophil oxidase factor or NADPH oxidase activator 2 or Neutrophil NADPH oxidase factor 2 or p67-phox, and encoded by the gene name NCF2 or NOXA2 or P67PHOX, is known as neutrophil cytosolic factor 2 (NCF2), the 67-kDa cytosolic subunit of the multi-protein NADPH oxidase complex found in neutrophils. This oxidase produces a burst of superoxide, which is delivered to the lumen of the neutrophil phagosome. Mutations in p67-phox, as well as in other NADPH oxidase subunits, can result in chronic granulomatous disease, a disease that causes recurrent infections by catalase-positive organisms.
