背景信息 Secreted frizzled-related proteins (SFRPs) may play a critical role in carcinogenesis by inhibiting the Wnt/beta-catenin signaling pathway. Secreted frizzled-related protein 2 (SFRP2) may be useful to further investigate mammary tumorigenesis as its expression increases with tumor progression in canine mammary gland tumors. SFRP2 in mouse embryos has been found to cause severe shortening of the thoracic region.
