    背景信息 Mammalian Ste20-like kinase 2 (MST2) is a serine/threonine kinase found in the kidney, placenta, heart, lung, and brain. It regulates organ size, cell proliferation, tumorigenesis, and apoptosis. Under conditions of cell stress, such as oxidative damage, MST2 is cleaved by caspase-3, and is irreversibly autophosphorylated at Thr180. Activated MST2 forms a stable complex with STK3 and triggers a signaling cascade which inhibits the translocation of YAP1 to the nucleus and consequent suppression of YAP1-mediated apoptosis.
