    背景信息 Erythropoietin (Epo) is a glycoprotein consisting of one 165-amino acid single-chain polypeptide with two internal disulfide bonds. When fully glycosylated, the molecular weight of Epo is approximately 34 kDa. Normally produced by the liver and kidney, Epo is the principle regulator of red blood cell production by stimulating the division and differentiation of bone marrow erythroid progenitor cells in response to anemia and hypoxia.
