背景信息 Hepatocyte Growth Factor (HGF), also known as Scatter Factor (SF) and Hepatopoietin A, is a pleiotrophic growth factor which is produced by mesodermally derived cells such as endothelial cells, Kupffer cells/macrophages, and hepatic fat-storing cells. HGF/SF is a potent effector of growth, movement, differentiation and invasiveness of epithelial and cancer cells.
