背景信息 Stabilin-2 (Stab2; FEEL-2; and HARE) is a phosphatidylserine receptor that is localized to hepatic sinusoidal endothelial cells. It is a large protein containing a linker domain, two laminin EGF-like domains, four FAS1 domains, and six EGF-like domains, enabling stabilin-2 to perform multiple functions. Stabilin-2 is primarily studied for its role as a scavenger receptor that is involved in the clearance of metabolic waste products, which may include hyaluronic acid, heparin, advanced glycation end-products, acetylated LDL, and chondroitin sulfates.
