背景信息	Sulfatase-modifying factor 2 (SUMF2) is a member of the sulfatase-modifying factor family. It plays an important role in catalyzing the oxidation of cysteine in the active site of sulfatases into C-alphaformylglycine, which is necessary for catalytic activities of the sulfatases. SUMF2 is found in the heart, brain, lung,skeletal muscle, and pancreas with highest levels found in kidney, liver and placenta.
