    背景信息 GAL4 is a transcriptional activator which controls the expression of genes involved in the catabolism of galactose. In addition to a DNA-binding domain, Gal4 contains two acidic regions: activating region I (aa148-238) and activating region II (aa768-881), which can both activate transcription when independently joined to the DNA-binding domain. The activation domains of Gal4 have been shown to interact with Gal80, TBP, SUG1, and ADA2, among other general transcription factors.
