    背景信息 TIE2/TEK (tyrosine kinase with Ig and EGF homology domains 2) is expressed almost exclusively in endothelial cells in mice, rats and humans. This receptor possesses a unique extracellular domain containing two immunoglobulin-like loops separated by three epidermal growth factor-like repeats that are connected to three fibronectin type III-like repeats. The ligand for the receptor is Angiopoietin 1. Defects in TIE2/TEK are associated with inherited venous malformations; the TIE2/TEK signaling pathway appears to be critical for endothelial cell-smooth muscle cell communication in venous morphogenesis.

    应用说明 Immunoprecipitation Analysis: 5 µL from a representative lot immunoprecipitated phospho TIE2/TEK (Tyr992) from Pervanadate treated HUVEC cell lysate. Immunoprecipated sample was then subjected to Western Blotting using a 1:5,000 dilution of this antibody.

    Peptide Inhibition Assay Analysis: A 1:500 dilution from a representative lot detected phospho TIE2/TEK (Tyr992) from transfected HEK293T lysates when pre-incubated without or with non-phospho peptide, and not when pre-incubated with phospho peptide.
