背景信息 The protein TCF-12 or Transcription factor 12,or Class B basic helix-loop-helix protein 20, or DNA-binding protein HTF4, bHLHb20, E-box binding protein, or Transcription factor HTF-4, and encoded by the human gene named TCF12/BHLHB20/HEB/HTF4 is a critical transcription factor identified for neuronal differentiation and interacts with NEUROD2 during development. Localized in the nucleus of developing neurons, TCF12 is also expressed developmentally in other tissues including skeletal muscle, thymus and certain lymphocytes. Interestingly too, overexpression of TCF12 has been associated with enhancement in colorectal cancer cell migration and invasion. Handling Recommendations: Upon receipt and prior to removing the cap, centrifuge the vial and gently mix the solution. Aliquot into microcentrifuge tubes and store at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles, which may damage IgG and affect product performance.
