背景信息	The protein named Peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase-like 4 (PPIL4, PPIase) or Cyclophilin-like protein PPIL4, or Rotamase PPIL4 and encoded by the human gene named PPIL4 is an enzymatic chaperone protein that accelerates the folding of proteins. PPIL4 catalyzes the cis-trains isomerization of proline imidic peptide bonds in peptides. PPIL4 is a member of the cyclophilin family of proteins. PPIL4 was originally identified as a novel member from a human fetal brain library and appears to be highly expressed in the kidney but also expressed in most other tissues as well in both fetal and adult tissues. Additionally, it localizes the cytoplasm and endoplasmic membrane arenas. EMD-Millipore’s Anti-PPIL4 rabbit polyclonal antibody has been tested in western blots on HeLa cell extracts.
