背景信息 Immunity-related GTPase family M protein (IRGM), also known as Interferon-inducible protein 1 (IFI1) and LPS-stimulated RAW 264.7 macrophage protein 47 homolog (LRG-47), is a member of the interferon-inducible GTPase family. It induces autophagy and generates large autolysosomal organelles as a mechanism for the elimination of intracellular Mycobacterium tuberculosis. IRGM is expressed in colon, small bowel, and peripheral blood leukocytes.
