背景信息 CIP2A, also known as Protein CIP2A, Cancerous inhibitor of PP2A, or p90 autoantigen, and encoded by the gene KIAA1524/CIP2A, is an oncoprotein that inhibits the phosphorylase PP2A and thus stabilizes the transcription factor Myc that then promotes the expression of many genes and helps to promote cancer cell characteristics such as anchorage-independent growth and tumor formation. Antibodies against CIP2A are present in blood from many cancer patients suggesting that it may act as a marker for cancers prior to their detection or as a measure of their presence. CIP2A is localized to the cytoplasm and membrane associated particularly in the perinuclear region.
