Entrez基因汇总 This gene encodes a subfamily member of the G-protein couple receptor (GPCR) superfamily. The encoded protein is a high-affinity receptor for lysophosphatidylcholine (LPC), a major phospholipid component of oxidized low density lipoprotein. TISSUE SPECIFICITY: Highly expressed in macrophages and hematopoietic tissues rich in lymphocytes, like spleen and thymus. Weakly expressed in heart and lung. In atherosclerotic plaques, expression is observed around the lipid core and at the shoulder region.
