概述	Full-length human recombinant Hp1γ (CBX3) expressed in E. Coli and purified by Fast Protein Liquid Chromatography (FPLC).
背景信息	Hp1γ (CBX3) is nuclear protein with a calculated molecular weight of 20.8 kDa. This protein associates with euchromatin and is largely excluded from constitutive heterochromatin. CBX3 recognizes and binds histone H3 tails methylated at 'Lys-9' (H3K9me), leading to epigenetic repression. In vivo Hp1 (CBX3) seems to be involved in transcriptional silencing in heterochromatin-like complexes and may also be associated with microtubules and mitotic poles during mitosis.
