描述 Anti-ATF6 Antibody 背景信息 ATF6 (Activating Transcription Factor 6, Cyclic AMP-dependent transcription factor ATF6) is a stress activated leucine zipper transcription factor involved in activating transcription of endoplasmic reticulum (ER) molecules in response to accumulation of unfolded proteins in the ER. ATF6 is originally a 90 kDa type II transmembrane glycoprotein that is converted to a 50 kDa soluble nuclear form, retaining its N-terminal domain, including the leucine zipper. Unfolded protein accumulation in the ER results in the cleavage of ATF6 to release its cytoplasmic domain that then enters the nucleus.
