背景信息	Transcription factor PU.1 is a member of the Ets family and is needed for the development of multiple hematopoietic lineages. PU.1 plays an important role in normal myeloid differentiation and regulates genes that are important for B-cell development. PU.1 acts as a tumor suppressor in leukemia when it is down-regulated.
