背景信息	Aurora A, B, and C, are members of the serine/threonine kinase family. These have been identified as important regulators of the mitotic cell division process. Aurora B, specifically, is involved in the regulation of centrosome function, bipolar spindle assembly, and chromosome segregation. Overexpression of Aurora B has been linked to many functions in cancer development and may be potential effectors in the Ras pathway pertinent to oncogenesis.
