背景信息 Nectin-2 is also known as poliovirus receptor-related protein 2 (PRR2 or PVRL2) or CD112. Nectin-2 is an immunoglobulin-like transmembrane cell adhesion protein that also seems to play a role in neural tube formation, with N-cadherin. It is connected with the actin cytoskeleton through afadin inside the cell. Nectin-2 also seems to play an important part in shielding the heart against cardiac dysfunction in high pressure situations.
