    背景信息 Tafazzin is alternatively known as Protein G4.5. Tafazzin is associated with cardiac contraction and development, with some isoforms possibly involved in cardiolipin (CL) metabolism. Most Tafazzin isoforms are ubiquitously expressed, with high levels seen in cardiac and skeletal muscle, and up to 10 isoforms may be present in varying amounts in different tissues. Tafazzin defects can cause Barth syndrome (BTHS).
