    背景信息 NRIH2 also known as Oxysterols receptor LXR-beta, is an orphan receptor that preferentially binds to double-stranded oligonucleotide direct repeats, which have 4-nt spacing (DR-4) and 5’-AGGTCA-3’ sequences. It belongs to the Liver X receptor (LXR) family, a group of receptors which are important for the regulation of cholesterol, lipid, and glucose metabolism. Along with Oxysterols receptor LXR-alpha, LXR-beta also serves as an important modulator of inflammatory signaling and can inhibit RANKL-induced osteoclast differentiation.
