背景信息 SNARE-associated protein Snapin is also called Biogenesis of lysosome-related organelles complex 1 subunit 7 (BLOC-1 subunit 7) and Synaptosomal-associated protein 25-binding protein or SNAP-associated protein (SNAPAP). Snapin is a member of the BLOC-1 complex, and may modulate a step between vesicle priming, fusion and calcium-dependent neurotransmitter release by potentiating the interaction of synaptotagmins with the SNAREs and the plasma- membrane-associated protein SNAP25. Snapin is strongly expressed in heart, brain, testis, kidney and liver.
