    应用说明 Immunoprecipitation of VLA-1 integrin from detergent cell lysates. Suggested dilution: 2 μg per 10E6 cell equivalent.

    Flow cytometry: 10 μg/mL

    Immunohistochemistry: Detects VLA-1 in acetone-fixed frozen tissue sections from gut, heart, and lungs. Suggestion dilution: 20 μg/mL.

    Function: MAB2513 does not inhibit VLA-1 mediated adhesion to matrix proteins.

    Not effective for Western blot.

    Optimal working dilutions must be determined by end user.

    免疫原品种 The antibody is secreted by a hybridoma prepared by fusion of spleen cells from Balb/c mice, immunized with rat pheochromocytoma PC12 cells with myeloma P3X63ag9.653 cells.

    特异性 Antibody MAB2513 is directed against rat integrin a1b1 (VLA-1), a receptor for collagen and laminin. Antibody specificity has been confirmed by 1) its ability to immunoprecipitate beta1 (Mr~200 kDa) and b1 (Mr~120 kDa) from (125)I-surface labeled PC12 cells and 2) reciprocal depletion of VLA-1 antigen from cell lysate with antiserum against the cytoplasmic domain of a1 integrin subunit. Analysis of immunoprecipitation by SDS-PAGE was carried out under non-reducing conditions using a 6% gel.

    The antibody will not recognize the individual integrin subunits, only the VLA-1 complex. The antibody is not effective in western blots of VLA-1 for this reason, only immunoprecipitation or staining (acetone fixed only).
