    背景信息 Although Plexin-A1 is a semaphorin receptor that is most commonly expressed in dendritic cells, it is most recognized as a proprioceptive sensory axon-specific receptor for Semaphorin-6C and Semaphorin-6D. Its most prominent role for sema6C/6D-plexinA1 signaling in sensory neuron development appears to be in the control of proprioceptive axon shaft position. In the absence of Plexin-A1 a breakdown of the exclusion of proprioceptive axon shafts from the superficial dorsal horn is observed, but without an impact on axon collateral trajectory. Plexin-A1 appears to be involved in T cell activation and may play a role in angiogenesis. A potential marker for dendritic cell maturity, Plexin-A1 has been found in the cytoplasm of the immature dendritic cells while localizing to the membranes of the mature ones.
