应用说明	Immunocytochemistry: Detection of HPV in cervical smears and biopsies of cells fixed in acetone or paraformaldehyde. Immunoperoxidase staining of paraffin sections. HPV-16 infected cells show strong nuclear staining. Immunoprecipitation Western blotting Optimal working dilution must be determined by the end user.

特异性	This antibody recognizes late protein of human papilloma virus type 16. HPV-6 & -II positive biopsies gave negative results. On western blots CamVir-1 detects a 56 kDa band corresponding to the L1 protein as well as a 41 kDa non-specific band that is observed in a wide range of uninfected mammalian cells. This non-specific 41 kDa protein is absent by immunoprecipitation, immunofluorescence or immunoperoxidase. This may be a reflection of cross-reactivity between HPV-16 L1 and a cryptic epitope in mammalian cells that is only revealed following exhaustive denaturation.
