背景信息 Myosin XIX (Myo19) is the founding member of a novel class of myosin that associates with mitochondria. Both endogenous Myo19 and GFP-Myo19 exihibit localization to mitochondria. Myosins are actin-based motor molecules with ATPase activity. Myo19 is involved in actin-based mitochondrial motility.
