背景信息 KIF11 (Eg5; Kinesin-5) is a kinesin-like plus-end motor protein, which belongs to the BimC subfamily. In mitotic processes, KIF11 regulates microtubule movement, and is required for bipolar spindle formation and organization, and centrosome migration. Disruption of KIF11 function induces cell-cycle arrest. KIF11 is regulated by CDK1-mediated phosphorylation of its Thr926 residue, which affects its binding to microtubules. KIF11 is also phosphorylated by the Nek6 kinase, which prevents spindle bipolarity. Defects in KIF11 results in microcephaly. 产品信息 格式 Affinity Purified 控制 - Non-starved HeLa cell lysate
