背景信息 PLAC3, also known as Placenta-Specific Protein 3 or PAPP-A2, is a metalloproteinase which specifically cleaves the Insulin-like Growth Factor-Binding Protein-5 (IGFBP-5). Recent studies have shown that PLAC3 shows limited proteolysis toward IGFBP-3. It has been suggested that the cleavage of IGFBP-5 and to a lesser extent that of IGFBP-3 promote feto-placental growth. Additionally, it is implied that PLAC3 is involved in hypertensive disorders of pregnancy including preeclampsia and HELLP (hemolysis, elevated liver enzymes, and low platelets) syndrome. PLAC3 is expressed abundantly in placenta, and non-pregnant mammary gland; and with low expression in the kidney, fetal brain and pancreas. 产品信息 格式 Affinity Purified 控制 - HeLa cell lysate
