背景信息 Protein lifeguard 2 (LFG) is an antiapoptotic protein belonging to the BI1 family. LFG inhibits the apoptotic signal transduced by the Fas receptor but not from the related tumor necrosis factor-death signal. LFG is expressed at high levels in the brain especially in the hippocampus.
